What's up everyone? Another week, another blog entry and I hope everyone is having an amazing week 😉 well this week is just a normal week for me nothing to crazy but there's one highlight moment this week so keep on reading and also it's February! A month were all couples are dating and to those who are still single like me (so sad but it's alright 😏) are bitter because they don't have a date on upcoming Valentine's day 😂 alright enough of this let's start this week of consistency (that's the title of my blog entry this week. CONSISTENCY) so without further ado, keep on reading and let's get right into it!
Monday, I only edited some pictures of the employees because the municipality of Tanauan need it so that they'll gonna give the mayor's permit to DMMC and after that I just sat on my table, checked some files in the computer and I wait until 5pm that's all for Monday. Then Tuesday, so here's the highlight moment of the week but before that I photocopy some on-leave memos then once again I'm operating the photocopy machine but now I know how to operate it and after that I submitted the memos to information and PSQMO. And now... the highlight moment is we had a meeting together with my co interns from other departments led by the Assistant Training manager Sir Ronnel from HR department. This is not the first time that we had a meeting, We already had a meeting last month and Sir Ronnel said on the first day in orientation that every end of the month we will gonna have a meeting to talk about some things regarding our internship in DMMC also our updated hours rendered and lastly some concerns or issues in the workplace. On our meeting last Tuesday I only expect interns from Accounting, IT, HR and Business Office but then suddenly all interns from the Laboratory came in and we are fully loaded in the room 407 (we are 45+ in the room) then Sir Ronnel discussed to us the new vision-mission of DMMC and the purpose of it. And also he discussed issues regarding answering calls from other departments.
That's an issue to those interns in the Laboratory because they are not that good on answering calls. Like for example, "Good morning, Laboratory, Intern" (one of interns in the laboratory said that when he/she talked to the COO of DMMC) and for real that's not the way answering calls. And on the side note, Most interns in the laboratory didn't know who's the COO and CEO of DMMC. (But me personally I met them both) SO this is the way I start greeting when I answer calls from other department; "Good morning, Admin Office, Ryan speaking...." That's the way Sir Ronnel taught us and don't forget to smile even on answering calls because it's important. And after that we had an activity called "Qualimed Bingo" and the rules are "Ask around. Fill all the spaces and have it signed with their name (Full Block). You may only use a person's name once". So basically you'll gonna ask some interns from other departments some questions if it's related to them then he/she should write his/her name on your paper and you may only use his/her name once. So here's what I got;
Wednesday. I work on memos using MS Word and after that Jayson and I tallied the Customer Surveys from December 2016-January 2017 using MS Excel and suddenly we had a mistake on counting the respondents so we restart counting it and after that it's now good and we passed the results to Ms. Cris. And the most challenging task was working on those parking receipts (tons of that) and we didn't finished stamping the parking receipts so we continue doing it on Thursday and for almost half day we finished working on those receipts and I passed it to the parking area. And lastly Friday, We helped Ms. Marylan to set up the meeting at the conference room; setting up the laptop, projector and the foods of the doctors. And after that I answer some calls from departments in the Medical Director's Office because Ms. Marylan was on the meeting so I am responsible for answering the calls in the Medical Director's Office and that's all for this week!
Why I choose "CONSISTENCY" as my title of this week's blog entry you may ask? Well posting blog entries every week is consistency because I want to be very consistent in posting my blog entries the reason is I want my blog entries to be organize and in order and so far I'm passing my blog entries every week and I never missed anything so I'm very happy with it even though I'm working my blog entries every Friday night since I'm tired because of my internship I'm still doing this blog entries because it's a requirement every week but for me I'm happy doing this kind of things even if this is a requirement I'm starting to like posting blog entries because I can share my thoughts and experiences all throughout the week. That's what you call "CONSISTENCY" remember the word guys. And by the way as of this moment, I rendered 340 hours in my internship and I only have 330 hours remaining to finish my internship in DMMC.
