Week 13 - One step closer 🎓

Hello everyone!!! I hope everyone is having an amazing week so that means another blog entry for this week and I did a lot of tasks for this week and the title of my blog entry is "One step closer" because it's almost March and it's almost 12 weeks away until the one of the best days of my life and it is "Graduation 🎓" and I can't believe it. I'm already excited and I hope I can finish my internship as early as possible because I want to finish my remaining requirements and take some little rest so without further ado, let's start this blog entry!

So as always I printed and cut flyers for eye center, radiology department and emergency medicine. I think it's my routine every week that I'll print, cut and fold flyers as many as I can and for me it's kinda exhausting but I'm enjoying it because in marketing we're all doing this kind of stuff. I'm thankful that my course is applied on what I'm doing right now because our supervisor/head was telling us to give some opinions regarding the design of the flyers and posters so that it would be nice to have some options to consider and I would like to thank my professor last semester Ms. Anna because she taught us some lessons about advertising and I learned a lot about it and now I'm applying it right now in my internship in Daniel O. Mercado Medical Center. On the first day of my internship I asked myself, "How to market this kind of institution?" How to advertise it to the people?" well now I know thanks to Ms. Anna for the lessons that she discussed about advertising last semester.

PRINT. CUT. FOLD. REPEAT

Last Wednesday we visited different hospitals that are Philhealth accredited and also that have birth-lying clinics around Sto. Tomas Batangas. First we visited Sto. Tomas General Hospital together with Mam Cris, Mam Noemi, Jayson and the nurse from PROHEALTH. They introduced the PROHEALTH services of DMMC so that the STGH (Sto. Tomas General Hospital) will refer the patients to the DMMC because they have PROHEALTH services and it's open every Monday-Sunday from 8am-4pm. Next we went to CMC because the driver Kuya Jay-Jay need to give something to the laboratory of CMC and we went to the Ton-ton's sisig and we ate our lunch there. After that we visited the Sto. Tomas Municipal hospital and St. Vincent de Paul hospital. And lastly we went to Semiona Maternity Clinic at San Pedro, Sto. Tomas, Batangas near St. Padre Pio Shrine. They introduced the PROHEALTH program of Daniel O. Mercado Medical Center.

Earlier today, We had a meeting at LPU-L gymnasium because of the graduation activities so we're all excused from our internship. They talked about the schedule of graduation activities for the next 2 months. And after that I went to DMMC because I want to work and I don't want to waste my time because 4 hours is huge. We set up a meeting of doctors at the Doctor's lounge and we bought foods for them. The foods are palabok, suman, cassava cake and pandesal. and when the meeting was adjourned we ate the remaining foods because we're hungry 😁. Next week is our TOIEC exam which is required to take and on March 6, 2017 is the graduation pictorial and now I can say that I'm a "candidate" for the graduation but I'm very sure that I'll graduate because I already settled my deficiencies in the registrar's office which is the Form 137 that I submitted last week so that my only focus are to finish the remaining hours of my internship, the thesis requirements and the remaining requirements of the registrar's office which is the clearance and etc. So let's start the countdown and it's already 12 weeks away until graduation and right now I'm very excited to reach one of my goals in my entire life.
