Week 11 - Health is wealth

Hello everyone!!! I'm Ryan and I'm back with yet another blog entry. Sounds like a vlogger huh? Well I used to watch some vlogs on youtube about sneakers and those youtubers/vloggers who likes and collects sneakers and posting their vlogs everyday. Well anyway I hope your week is amazing but for me hmm it's all good but I'm not 100% physically but not emotionally. Not 100% physically because I have cough and cold in the past 4 days and I'm not comfortable with it because I can't work on my tasks but as of this moment I'm feeling alright and I'm now at my 70% physically. Well this week I did a lot of work because we're preparing for the "Alay for Senior Citizen" program for the senior citizens of Balele, Tanauan City Batangas (but it happened earlier today).

For 4 days all I did was print, photocopy, cut, answer calls and repeat. But most of the days I printed a lot of flyers because it will be given to the senior citizens; the following flyers are about glaucoma, katarata, diabetic retinopathy, and arthritis. The program was held at the gymnasium of Balele, Tanauan City Batangas and there are approximately 135 senior citizens attended the program and they were all cooperative and they listened to the lectures of the doctors. The doctors that I'm talking about are Dr. Dandro Paulo Lat (he's an orthopedic surgeon) and Dr. Glenn Carandang (he's an ophthalmologist). They shared their knowledge and answered the questions of the senior citizens regarding eye and bone diseases. And after the lecture we gave some merienda for the senior citizens.

I also listened to the lectures of Dr. Lat and Dr. Carandang and I learned some facts about some eye and bone diseases and all of a sudden I realized that health is wealth. As of right now we may not encounter this kind of diseases but as we get older we will gonna experience all of this so right now we should take care of our health. We should limit ourselves on drinking alcoholic drinks (it's not bad but we should have a limit on drinking) and STOP SMOKING. I really hate those people smoking then they'll gonna pass it to you and now you can have secondhand smoke because of those smokers who can't stop smoking. We should limit ourselves because later on they will gonna have an effect to your body as you get older so... STOP SMOKING because sooner or later you'll experience lung cancer. So here are some photos of all the tasks that I did this week;
